NCircle is a Kansas City based nonprofit dedicated to connecting people to community opportunities to end cycles of incarceration and stabilize families and futures. NCircle has been working at the intersection of workforce development and reentry since 2011 and was formalized as a 501(c)(3) in 2016. Since then, the agency has grown steadily. Today, NCircle employs four full and part-time staff members and two contractors and operates with an annual budget of approximately $500,000. Funding is provided through a diversified blend of state and county grants, contracts with private industry employers, major donors, foundations, and individual giving. Through workforce development, mentoring, and educational partnerships, NCircle serves more than 350 adults and youth annually across the Kansas City metropolitan area, helping participants overcome barriers to employment and community reintegration. Our programs emphasize hope-centered, strengths-based development and measurable workforce readiness outcomes that support sustainable careers and stable lives.

NCircle is seeking engaged and mission minded board members who are willing to use their personal and professional skills to help strengthen and grow the organization. We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in accounting and finance, legal services, business development, fundraising, human resources, marketing, strategic planning, and community engagement. Board members provide governance, advocacy, oversight, and connections that help expand NCircle’s impact throughout the region.
