Kansas City Metro | 2-Year Term | Volunteer Advisory Role
If you value community-led solutions, thoughtful problem-solving, and offering guidance without governance authority, this advisory role may be a strong fit.
Clement Waters Retreat is a community-rooted nonprofit advancing preventive community health by reconnecting people with nature, nourishment, and shared care. Our work combines nature-based wellness, land stewardship, and reflective practices to support trauma recovery, improved nutrition, increased longevity, and long-term community wellbeing.
We prioritize approaches that are community-led, culturally rooted, and operationally sustainable.
About the Advisory Role
Advisory Board Members (also called Advisory Council Members) provide insight, perspective, and subject-matter guidance to support the organization’s work.
This is not a governance or fiduciary role. Advisory Members do not vote on Board decisions, nor do they hold legal or financial responsibility for the organization.
Instead, Advisory Members strengthen the organization by offering regular informed advice, participating in committee work, and contributing lived or professional expertise when invited.
